We are a small Christian preschool located in Berkeley, California. We strive to cultivate an environment where children can grow in a community. We have a diverse mix of families that are both local neighborhood families and transplant families from all over the world. This blend has made our school rich in culture and difference. We welcome families from all backgrounds and faith traditions.

Mustard Seed Preschool was founded in 1979 as a non-denominational, non-profit Christian school dedicated to excellence in early childhood education. We respect children’s individual needs, skills, and interests and allow them to explore, create and grow at the pace that best meets their development.  We treat each child with love and respect as a unique individual, created in the image of loving God.  We encourage children to love themselves, others and all of creation.
