Piglets

Ages 2.0 Years to 2.9 Years

In the Piglet class children transition out of solitary and parallel play and begin to engage in associative and interactive play.  The curriculum provides an environment that stimulates and fosters curiosity in children through games, songs, and other child developmentally appropriate activities.  They learn to take turn, share and build relationships with peers and teachers.

There are daily opportunities to fine-tune their fine and gross motor skills.  Children develop self-control as they discover that there is freedom/choice within the limits in their environment.  This is also the class when children begin the potty training process.
